Mia Arends is a breathwork facilitator dedicated to bringing transformative breathing practices to the rave and festival community. Her journey to breathwork unfolded through a beautiful chain of synchronicities that began with an Instagram ad and culminated in a powerful mystical experience at Electric Forest. After years of practicing meditation, breathwork offered her something profound—a reliable path to presence and a tool for nervous system regulation that could recreate the awe, gratitude, and clarity of peak festival experiences without leaving home. This revelation inspired her to leave her management role at an economic consulting firm and pursue certification through Elemental Rhythm in January 2026, driven by a vision to make these transformative states accessible to her community. Drawing from her unique background—including 10 years as a ballet dancer and her immersion in the rave scene—Mia brings a rhythmic, embodied approach to her facilitation. She believes deeply that every person holds their own answers and healing power; her role is simply to hold space for transformation and offer intuitive support. Based in Phoenix, Arizona, Mia offers both virtual and in-person sessions, including festival prep and integration workshops designed specifically for ravers, as well as new moon intention-setting workshops and full moon abundance celebrations. Her vision is to see breathwork become as integral to ravers’ lives as raves themselves, ensuring that tools for grounding and transformation are accessible to everyone in the scene.
