Becoming an Elemental Rhythm Breathwork Facilitator has the potential to not only change your life but also the lives of so many people who will cross your path and enter into the space of transformation.

Within 3 months of taking our training you will have all the skills needed to facilitate your own fully curated breathwork experiences from 1 on 1 sessions to large groups.

There is no previous experience required and as a bonus you will join an amazing community of other breathwork facilitators already making a huge impact in the lives of others!

Accommodation is on a first-come, first-serve basis with shared rooms assigned according to gender. It includes:

You will be staying with us at Ecology Retreat Centre. Each shared room comes equipped with a shared night stand and table lamp, individual heating (per room) wall hooks and hangers.

In this unique training you will learn:

Confidently guide immersive Elemental Rhythm Breathwork sessions that support deep emotional release, insight, and meaningful personal breakthroughs
Work with rhythmic breathing cycles and understand how breath, tempo, and pacing influence the nervous system and emotional states
Use BPM (beats per minute) intentionally, learning how music tempo supports different phases of a breathwork session and helps regulate, activate, or integrate participants
Create powerful, well-structured playlists that support each phase of the experience, from activation to release to integration
Read the energy of a room and adapt your facilitation in real time to support both group dynamics and individual needs
Guide specifically structured (E.P.I.C. Awareness) visualizations to powerfully guide participants inward to unlock emotional clarity, new insights and embodied understanding
Apply our Timeline Weaving framework to support integration by connecting past experiences, present awareness, and future intention

Learn to guide breathwork within a safe, trauma-informed framework through dedicated training created by past graduate Dr. Amy Bjorkman.
Learn how to create your own unique experiences that Integrate breathwork, music, meditation, and movement to create cohesive, multi-sensory experiences that support deeper emotional release
Understand breathing fundamentals and teach others how to optimize their breath for daily regulation, energy, and clarity
Learn how to facilitate sharing and integration circles while building trust, connection, and a supportive breathwork community.
Integrate breathwork into an existing wellness or coaching practice, or use it as a foundation to begin something new
Apply practical strategies from the Marketing Course to launch, promote, and consistently fill your sessions

A 16 - Week Immersive Certification Journey | 50+ Hours of Training

Live Online Weekend Immersion
A live, two-day online training led by Elemental Rhythm master trainers. The weekend includes teaching, facilitator demonstrations, guided group practice, breakout rooms, and live Q&A to support clear understanding and embodied learning.
8 Mentored Integration Calls
Eight topic-based live calls designed to support integration and confident facilitation. Calls cover breathing mechanics, trauma-informed foundations, session flow, EPIC visualization, and facilitation skills. There are two calls available every week, you can attend as many times as you like. The course requirement is attending at least one of each required call.
Practice & Peer Sessions
Structured opportunities to both guide and receive breathwork sessions, helping you build real facilitation experience and confidence. One full session is submitted for review and feedback as part of the process.
Lifetime Access to Integration & Community Calls
Continued access to integration and community calls for ongoing learning, mentorship, and support beyond certification. We have community calls bi-weekly for additional support and learning opportunities.

About Gio

Giovanni Bartolomeo is an entrepreneur and life adventurer who has a passion for teaching, experiential learning and creating deep connections with others. He is the founder of Elemental Wellness studio in Toronto and Co-Founder of The Personal Development School among many other ventures.

He is always looking for the next consciousness-expanding learning experience whether it be climbing mountains in his shorts with Wim Hof, participating in Traditional Ayahuasca ceremonies, or challenging his mind and body to see what new limits he can reach. Gio is a breathwork facilitator and Life/Executive coach and Founder of Elemental Rhythm Breathwork Programs and Facilitator Training.

He launched his third podcast in 2020 called the Elemental Awakening to go along with his YouTube channel (Elemental Awakening). You can watch his documentary on Plant Medicine called Psyched Out for free through his YouTube channel.

Do I need prior experience with breathwork?

No previous experience is required. This training is designed to support both beginners and experienced practitioners.

What if I can’t make all the live calls?

You can watch replays, but live attendance is encouraged. You need to complete all 8 topics to get certified.

How long do I have to complete the training?

You have up to 4 months after the weekend immersion to complete all certification requirements.

What’s the total time commitment?

The live training weekend is 2 full days. Expect an average of 2–4 hours per week over the following 4–8 weeks to complete calls, practice sessions, and coursework.

Do I get certified?

Yes — after completing all requirements, you’ll receive your Elemental Rhythm Breathwork Facilitator Certification.

What does breathwork do to your body?

Breathwork has a number of effects on the physical body – read more on our What is Breathwork page. One important effect is that breathwork makes your body more alkaline. Since disease can only thrive in an acidic environment, you’re creating an internal environment supportive of health. Breathwork also strengthens your lungs and helps with athletic performance.

How do you feel after breathwork?

The effects after breathwork are individual and often vary from session to session. Many people report feeling sensations of ease and vibrancy, feeling alive, grounded and peaceful. Mentally, breathwork helps get perspective so that the problems you entered the session with suddenly feel less significant. It also promotes focus, concentration and mental clarity. Depending on the type of breathwork, you may feel alert and awake or relaxed and ready for bed.

Who should not do breathwork?

Thanks to the versatility and flexibility of the practice, breathwork can be adapted to suit anyone. More intense styles of breathwork should be avoided – at least without consulting a medical professional – by persons with cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, significant recent physical injuries or surgery.

Breathwork is not advised for severe mental illness or seizure disorders or for persons using some types of medications. It is also not recommended for anyone with a personal or family history of aneurysms.

Pregnant women are advised against practicing breathwork without first consulting and getting approval from their primary care provider. Persons with asthma should have their inhaler present and consult with their primary health care physician.
