Breathwork Certifications & Coaching Training Pathway

A structured breathwork certification journey that begins with facilitation and evolves into coaching and leadership — rooted in nervous system awareness, subconscious transformation, and embodied integrity

The Path Into Deeper Breathwork Facilitation

Breathwork is powerful. Guiding it responsibly requires more than technique — it requires understanding, presence, and a system that supports depth without overwhelm.

Elemental Rhythm certifications are designed as a progressive pathway.

You begin by learning how to facilitate breathwork experiences with care and structure, then deepen into integration and advanced transformational work as your skill, confidence, and responsibility grow.

The work integrates breathwork, nervous system awareness, trauma-informed facilitation, subconscious insight, and live experiential learning into a method that is taught, practiced, and embodied over time.

This path is designed for those who want to work with depth — responsibly, sustainably, and with integrity.

The Elemental Rhythm Certification Journey

Facilitator Training → Integration Coaching → Advanced Coaching

The journey begins with the Breathwork Facilitator Training. If you’re ready to take the next step or have any questions, book a discovery call.

Breathwork Facilitator Training

This is the foundation of the Elemental Rhythm system and the required first step in the certification journey.

You’ll learn the Elemental Rhythm Transformation System, guiding breathwork experiences from start to finish through rhythmic breathing, music, pacing, and trauma-informed awareness — creating sessions that feel intentional, grounded, and complete.

Integration Coaching Program

After learning how to guide powerful breathwork experiences, many facilitators feel called to support people beyond the session.

The Integration Coaching Program teaches you how to help clients make sense of what opens during breathwork and translate those insights into real-life change — through nervous system awareness, coaching structure, and somatic integration.

This program is available after completing Facilitator Training.

Advanced Integration Coaching

Advanced Integration Coaching is for those ready to work at the deepest levels of transformation.

This program focuses on subconscious patterns, belief systems, core wounds, and identity-level change — giving you the tools to guide clients through complex emotional terrain with confidence and clarity.

Available after completing Integration Coaching.

Educator Path

For facilitators who feel called to teach, mentor, and lead within the Elemental Rhythm method, the Educator Path offers a way to step into a teaching and leadership role.

Educators are trained to lead their own Breathwork Facilitator Trainings, guiding others through the foundational Elemental Rhythm method.

The Educator Path is a parallel pathway, available to certified facilitators with at least one year of experience. Coaching certification is not required.

The short answer: anyone who’s breathing! Elemental Rhythm is a powerful yet accessible type of breathwork that can be tailored to each person’s needs. You don’t need any previous breathwork experience and the practice is perfectly safe. There are a few contraindications such as being pregnant, having seizures or any severe heart issues.

No. That said, it’s fairly common to have alterations of sensory perceptions – seeing colors and visions, hearing sound distortions, and feeling alterations in your bodily perception and temperature. You can also experience time as moving faster and slower. Although breathwork is not a psychedelic experience, it can alter your brainwave state to bring you into a more relaxed, meditative state facilitating mystical experiences. As opposed to a psychedelic journey, you are always in control and able to change the intensity of your experience.

Yes. We believe that ultimately, the only one who can change your life is you – but breathwork can accelerate the process and allow you to change, heal and upgrade faster. While the results are individual, check out our testimonials to get an idea of what other students have experienced.

Breathwork has a number of effects on the physical body – read more on our What is Breathwork page. One important effect is that breathwork makes your body more alkaline. Since disease can only thrive in an acidic environment, you’re creating an internal environment supportive of health. Breathwork also strengthens your lungs and helps with athletic performance.

The effects after breathwork are individual and often vary from session to session. Many people report feeling sensations of ease and vibrancy, feeling alive, grounded and peaceful. Mentally, breathwork helps get perspective so that the problems you entered the session with suddenly feel less significant. It also promotes focus, concentration and mental clarity. Depending on the type of breathwork, you may feel alert and awake or relaxed and ready for bed.

Thanks to the versatility and flexibility of the practice, breathwork can be adapted to suit anyone. More intense styles of breathwork should be avoided – at least without consulting a medical professional – by persons with cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, significant recent physical injuries or surgery.

Breathwork is not advised for severe mental illness or seizure disorders or for persons using some types of medications. It is also not recommended for anyone with a personal or family history of aneurysms.

Pregnant women are advised against practicing breathwork without first consulting and getting approval from their primary care provider. Persons with asthma should have their inhaler present and consult with their primary health care physician.
